Info Scholarship - Davidson Fellow Scholarship Program

Davidson Fellow has created a project/work that is recognized as an outstanding accomplishment by experts in the field and has the potential to benefit society. A qualified project/work may be:

* an exceptionally creative application of existing knowledge.
* a new idea with high impact; a unique application.
* an innovative solution with broad-range implications.
* an important advancement that can be replicated and built upon.
* an interdisciplinary discovery with the potential to effect positive change.
* or other demonstration of extraordinary accomplishment.

Project examples of the 2007 Davidson Fellows:

* A new method for isolating DNA to detect the early stages of cancer.
* A process that could revolutionize the plastics recycling industry.
* A literary portfolio focused on deepening our understanding of human responses to grief.

Deadlines & Eligibility:

* The deadline for the 2008 Davidson Fellows Scholarship is March 26, 2008.
* Applicants must be under the age of 18 as of October 1, 2008.
