Description

The Luce Scholars Program is available to American citizens who are no more than 29 years of age and who have received their bachelors degree by September 1 of the year the program is entered. You may have an academic background in any field other than Asian studies and not have significant exposure to Asian culture or Asian studies to qualify for this program. This year-long program places participants in appropriate jobs throughout Asia and provides a stipend and cost of living and housing allowances. Selection will be based on high achievement, outstanding leadership ability, and a clearly defined career interest with evidence of potential for professional accomplishment.
